In Ica in 2007 and’ came an earthquake that destroyed all the churches of the city '. After 6 years and still nothing’ was done. The main church dedicated to Jesu’ of Luren and’ yet as you see in the picture. A poor abandoned ruin.
I come from Sant Agostino Ferrara, where a year ago the earthquake has made it uninhabitable all the beautiful old churches in the area. Once the priority’ rebuild them remain today was abandoned. The man who prefers to new gods today.
Of this church, but also that of the Jesuits in Pisco, I can say to have historical photos. It was August 1989 when I took a picture of the church of the Lord of Luren of Ica. And the first of 1991 when I took pictures to that of Pisco.
